‘B' sugar prices drop slightly
 

Millgate prices of “B” sugar slightly dropped this week although its level remains above P1,000 per 50-kilo Lkg., price monitor of the Sugar Master Plan Foundation.

The lowest price this week is P1,013 while the previous week, at P1,025.

All the prices of mill districts in Negros and Panay dipped except for Passi I which disposed its stocks this week at P1,048.29 per Lkg, higher than last week's P1,015.29.

Victorias Milling Company did not sell its “B” sugar this week.

The bidding on Jan. 24 saw Binalbagan-Isabela Sugar Company selling its “B” stocks at P1,013.50 (high) and P1,010.09 (low); Central Azucarera de la Carlota, P1,020 (high) and P1,019 (low); Hawaiian-Philippine Company, P1,034 (high) and P1,031.02 (low);

SONEDCO, P1,025; Lopez Sugar Corp., P1,013; Sagay Central Inc., P1,030; BUSCO, P1,020; Passi II, P1,045; Capiz, P1,030.05; and Bais, P1,023 (high) and P1,015.85 (low).*NLG
