She's a lady now

Bacoleños celebrated Sunday the Feast of San Sebastian with Novena Masses and a procession that was a happy and meaningful celebration for all the faithful.

Romeo and Mary Jane Alunan presented their eldest daughter, Jessa Marie, to society at a recent countdown dinner for her debu bash held at the Sampaguita Hall of the Sugarland Hotel, Bacolod City .

Everyone was requested to wear something reflective of the Yuletide spirit, preferably red or green. It was a Cinderella-inspired party where, at midnight, the celebrator would turn 18 years old.

A Cotillion was presented by her closest friends, high school and college peers, and also the 18 candles. She received a special gift from Mom and Dad, as well as from Titas and Titos, and friends who all greeted and wished her the best on that special night.

Balikbayan grandma from Australia , Lettty Torreverde, with Tita Elena Torreverde, uncle Mark and auntie Lorna Maunsell, came to witness the celebrator's transformation from a little girl to a lady.

To the celebrator, may you have more birthdays to strike at midnight .

Remember: Forgive the many errors that I made yesterday, and let me try again, dear God, to walk closer to Thy way.*
