Capitol eyes e-dtr system
BY MARICAR ARANAS

Employees of the provincial government will soon adopt the electronic daily time recording, Gov. Emilio Macias II said yesterday.

Macias said he has ordered the Human Resource Development Office to come up with the implementing rules and guidelines for the system, using the two newly purchased e-dtr machines which cost P140,000 placed at the Capitol lobby.

Provincial information officer Adrian Sedillo said the machines are not yet functioning but are displayed for users' familiarization.

Macias, on the other hand, said specific implementing rules and procedures should be drawn up for field officers assigned in far-flung areas and who cannot physically report to the Capitol daily.

The HRD and the Information Technology Department are now formulating these guidelines, and Macias said, he hopes the new system will

help employees become time-conscious.*MA
