Superferry opens
Roxas, two other ports

SuperFerry said it has re-opened its three ports that include an alternative gateway to Boracay, to accommodate the expected rise in summer travelers, a press release from the company said.

The Manila-Odiongan route opened December 17 at a rate as low as P800; Surigao port, on December 19, at P1,150; and Roxas, on December 23, at P750.

Travelers who pass through the Roxas port can feast on the seafood served fresh by sinugba establishments along near the pier before embarking on a two-hour scenic land trip to Caticlan, where they can take a ferry to Boracay, the press release said.

Andrew Deyto, AVP for sales and marketing, said travelers should book early to enjoy bigger savings.

It is the first inter-island vessel to price its tickets based on availability of accommodations. It is a software driven pricing system that automatically adjusts prices based on customer demand, the press release added.

Last July, it launched its low fare campaign called Biyaheng Bayan, focusing on the higher benefits of a new low price scheme, it also said.

Deyto said that, after all charges are paid, SuperFerry Tripid Fares remain substantially lower than other alternatives.
