Intelligence operatives of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office arrested two more persons selling pornographic films at Luzuriaga Street in Bacolod City Wednesday.

Led by Senior Inspector Argel Ancheta, the operatives, deputized agents of the Optical Media Board, arrested Ali Umba, 22, and Rudy Dimaporo, 18, in simultaneous buy-bust operations.

Ancheta said they confiscated 17 pieces of digital video discs containing pornographic films from Umba and Dimaporo who are now locked up in jail.

The intensified campaign against pornographic materials started in December last year, after a steady increase in number of rape cases and sexually-molested offenses was noted.
