‘Guv gets better'
BY CARLA GOMEZ

The health of Negros Occidental Gov. Joseph Marañon, who has been confined at the Riverside Medical Center in Bacolod City since Monday, further improved yesterday, his chief of staff Jose Ma. Valencia said.

The governor was asking that his intravenous lines be removed and that he be allowed to eat solid food, Valencia said.

However, Valencia said doctor's permission was needed before that could be done.

Valencia said the governor's skin color was also less yellowish yesterday and was returning to normal.

However, Valencia said the governor needs more rest to ensure his recovery.*CPG
