Warning devices needed
to avoid mishaps -- PNP
BY PATRICK PANGILINAN

Cane truck operators are being asked to provide early warning devices for their vehicles to avoid further accidents after the recent roadside crash that injured four people in the city early Monday.

Bacolod City Police Office director, Senior Supt. Ronilo Quebrar, said they have been calling on truck owners to provide warning devices to their workers that will caution incoming vehicles about those stalled along roads.

At about 3 a.m. Monday, a tricycle carrying a group of teenagers crashed into a loaded cane truck parked at the Circumferential Road at Bangga Cory in Brgy. Taculing, Bacolod .

Three of the passengers sustained minor scratches while one was reportedly in critical condition.

Quebrar said truck operators could face civil charges if they their vehicles are involved in accidents and they do not have early warning devices.*PP
