Bacoleño gets life
for shabu sale
BY CARLA GOMEZ

A Bacolod resident was sentenced Monday to life imprisonment for the sale of shabu.

Judge Edgardo Garvilles of the Regional Trial Court of Bacolod yesterday said he found Sammy Fajardo guilty beyond reasonable doubt of violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Fajardo was apprehended in October 2005 for the sale of seven sachets of shabu for P5,900 to police operatives, Garvilles said.

Garvilles said the police had sandwiched paper in between P100 bills to make the amount appear to be P5,900.*CPG
