The National Food Authority in Negros Oriental turned over gift packages to the Tindahan Natin beneficiaries under the “Pamaskong Handog ni PGMA” program held yesterday in Amlan, Negros Oriental

The ceremony was attended by NFA regional director Danilo Bonabon, provincial manager Gil Ibarra, Department of Social Welfare Development provincial officer Alice Lagarde, and Amlan Mayor Bentham dela Cruz.

The gift packages consisted of two kilos of rice, noodles and canned goods that were distributed to 250 beneficiaries. Negros Oriental has a total of 51,420 beneficiaries who are accredited Tindahan Natin distributors.

The province was the only recipient of the program in the entire Central Visayas .

The Tindahan Natin was launched in 2006 in the town.*MA
