The simultaneous pinning of ranks on all the regular promotees for last year, was confirmed through a radio message from the Philippine National Police Office in Central Visayas .

Police non-commissioned officers will have their pinning done in their provincial, city and local police offices, while newly promoted commissioned officers be promoted at rites at the Regional Police Office 7 on January 21, during the traditional Monday flag-raising ceremony.

NORPPO has 135 applicants for promotion in the PNCO level, and at least 10 for police commissioned officers.
