| Well remembered reunion
The Class '71 alumni of the Bacolod City High School , now Bacolod City National High School , held their annual Christmas Reunion recently at the lovely home of Leo and Erlyn Lumanang at Town & Country in Talisay City .
A Thanksgiving Mass officiated by Fr. Jude Serfino of the Sacred Heart Seminary was followed by a sumptuous lunch, buffet style, from the group, and in the evening, a delicious dinner was tendered by the hosts.
Everybody enjoyed their exchange gifts, classmates with nice voices
rendered their favorite songs of yesterday. Certificates of special recognition were also awarded to Teresita Saez, Melinda Rivera, Edna Garzon, Mila Federico, Jeremiah Arriola and Elizabeth Tolentino for their donation project for the charity ward of the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital .
A certificate of appreciation was given to Leo and Erlyn for hosting and for their generous support to the Class 71. Leo is presently connected to an engineering firm in Saudi Arabia while Erlyn is a company nurse in a match factory.
The event was the most well-attended and well-organized under the leadership of class president Mary Jane Donesa.
Special guest of honor Jasmin Saravia, their mentor and class adviser, thanked their other batch members Rose Anovert Vallier, and Antonett Fernandez and the hosts for donating to the class fund.
After dinner, it was dancing and dancing up to the wee hours.
