| Gerry's foe aims More than the title, revenge will be another subplot when WBO bantamweight titlist Gerry Peñalosa of San Carlos City battles former world champion Ratanachai Sor Vorapin of Thailand on March 2 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City . Peñalosa (56-6-2) has defeated Vorapin, the No. 1 contender for his title, by sixth round TKO back in November 2000 in Parañaque for the WBC super flyweight title. The 31-year-old Vorapin is unbeaten in his last seven fights, after getting knocked out by Mexican Jhonny Gonzalez in Arizona in their WBO bantamweight title fight in October 2005. | ||||||||||||||||
