Some P200,00 worth of projects are up for grabs to local government units, non-government organizations or people's organizations in the search of the 2nd Timbayayong Awards for outstanding LGU-NGOs/POs.

The search is designed to showcase a partnership for local development undertaking by the Negros Oriental Network of NGOs and the provincial government.

Qualified awardees must have functional partnership programs that bring forth development in the locality. The NGOs/POs nominees must be accredited by the LGUs pursuant to the New Local Government Code, and that, the partnership is current and operating for at least three years.

The nominees will be evaluated on the quality of the process of service delivery to its beneficiaries; effective working relationship in Local Development Council and other local special bodies; and demonstration of efficient resource management and provision of project sustainability.

Interested applicants may submit their official nomination form to the office of the NEGORNET with certification from city/municipal local government operations officer authenticating that such partnership and project exist; and barangay-based project, the endorsement of the Mayor is required; and brief summary of the current project with some photos.
