| The 19 contestants for the search of Hara Sang Negros 2008 in Kabankalan City will have pictorial at Mag-aso Falls in Brgy. Oringao on Saturday, a press release from the city said.
After the pictorial with the local photographers, winners of the Best in Swimsuit, Diwata Sang Mag-aso, and Miss Photogenic titles will be chosen.
Pictorial creative director Errol de los Reyes said the girls will wear red two-piece swimwear, with floral crown and hold cascading floral bouquets to project a “diwata” look. They will have the Mag-aso falls as backdrop, the press release said.
On Jan. 15, the pre-pageant will be held at the Farmers Center for the selection of the Best in Gown, Tribal Costume and Talent. The main pageant will be on Jan. 18 at the Kabankalan Catholic College gym at 8 p.m.
Emcee for the pageant will be Ginger Conejero, the press release added.*

PACUCOA accreditation
The Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission of Accreditation recently awarded West Negros College in Bacolod City with the highest number of Level II 4th reaccredited programs, a WNC press release said.
Among the reaccredited programs are the following: Level II 4th RA – Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Bachelor of Elementary Education and Bachelor of Secondary Education; Level II 1st RA – Master of Arts in Education and Master of Public Administration.
Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology are candidates for accreditation, the press release said.
