Man knifes drinking buddy
 

A man was stabbed by his companion in a drinking spree Friday afternoon in Brgy. Agan-an, Sibulan town, Negros Oriental, the police said yesterday.

Fabian Pocong, single, of legal age and residing at Villarosa Subdivision, Brgy. Maslog, was stabbed allegedly by Daniel Tojino, 52, a widower, of Brgy. Agan-an, both in Sibulan.

Initial police investigation revealed that the incident happened about 3 p.m. Friday.

Pocong and Tojino engaged in a heated argument and the latter suddenly got a knife and stabbed Pocong in the stomach.

The victim was brought to the Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital while the suspect voluntarily surrendered to the police.*RG
