Malaysian Tourism Board to join 3rd
TravelXchange in Bacolod City
 

The Malaysian Tourism Board will join the 3rd TravelXchange in Bacolod City on February 1 to 3 to feature Malaysia 's multi- tourism attractions, organizers said in a press release.

It will provide information on holiday packages of the Philippines ' neighbor – from accommodation to transportation; from shopping to golfing; from spa to arts; from culture to night life and from meetings to retirement programs.

Malaysia 's word-class resort, A' Famosa, will also take part in the three-day travel event. The 520-hectare integrated resort includes an animal safari, water world, golf course, cowboy town theme park, and a resort hotel complex with villas and condominiums.

The participation of Malaysia , which leads in tourist arrivals and infrastructures in Southeast Asia, is expcted to stimulate travel between Western Visayas and Malaysia , organizers said in the press release.

Event manage Selrahco Management Services said they will also raffle off three weekend holidays to Cebu , inclusive of airfares and accommodations in deluxe hotel properties.

Other participants will be the Greater Subic Bay Tourism Bureau; Bohol Divers Resort and Convention Center; Microtel Inns and Suites; DOT Region 10; Grand Regal Hotels; Plantation Bay Resort and Spa, Mactan; White Rock Beach Resort, Zambales; Mountain Woods Resort, Subic; Amadeus; Travel Club; Baron Travel, Sunbee Travel and Tours, Cagayan de Oro; Mallberry Suites, Cagayan de Oro; Royal Caribbean Cruises, Casino Hotel Bacolod and Cebu Parklane International Hotel.

The 3rd TravelXchange 2008 is supported by the Department of Tourism, PAGCOR, the Provincial Tourism Office, City of Bacolod, Skal International, Cebu Pacific, Panay News, Sikat TV and Robinson's Place.*
