The Municipal Peace and Order Council in Moises Padilla was reactivated recently in cooperation with various sectors and local government agencies, a press release from the town government said.

Mayor Francisco Nazareno, MPOC chairman, presided over the reorganizational meeting, attended by Interior and Local Government officer Noby Mejica and Lt. Col. Franco Gacal, 11 th Infantry Battalion commanding officer.

The press release said the reactivation was made with the help of Sangguniang Bayan Committee on Peace and Order chairman, Councilor Jimmie Don Plaza .

A stable peace and order situation in a locality is very vital in luring in investors, Nazareno said, adding that the MPOC will also come up with projects and programs to address the peace and order problem in some barangays.
