Negros SP approves
language, IT center

BY GILBERT BAYORAN

The Negros Occidental Sangguniang Panlalawigan yesterday approved an ordinance creating the Negros Occidental Training Center for Language and Cyber Skills.

The ordinance, sponsored by Board Member Emilio Yulo III, is aimed at establishing a  center that will provide free English and Information Technology training to teachers and students in public schools and the out-of-school youth, which is expected to start in June.

Yulo who chairs the SP Committee on Education, said the training center is a legacy program of Gov. Joseph Marañon and Vice Gov. Isidro Zayco.*GPB
