A double celebration

It was a double birthday celebration recently for grandmama Celia Montilla Leonardia’s 70th natal day and grand apo, lovely and charming Stephanie Angelie Ampil, daughter of Choy and MM Leonardia Ampil, who turned 18 years old.

Imelda Resto, where the party was held, was filled with family and classmates of the celebrators, and their friends. The garden side where the long buffet tables were place was also filled with guests.

Jun Subido entertained the visitors with his lovely songs. After the delicious dinner, Dino Abellana who is a three-time winner of a top variety show during the 80’s,  together with his brother, actor singer and model Rey, led the presentation of the 18 candles and 18 red roses to wish good luck to Stephanie.

Daddy Choy’s classmates since high school, who are also the ninongs of Stephanie were present. Some like Frankie Barandiaron, Rey and Dina came all the way from Manila.

Stephanie is a second year nursing student at Riverside College. She is into soccer and volleyball.

Grandmama and Steph will always remember this happy and memorable birthday celebration.

The Espinos Homeowners Association will celebrate its annual fiesta at the Sugarland Hotel on March 14, with Giselle Sanchez and the Ful Flava Band.
