| Allan Baer of ESD Triple-C, Sylvia del Rosario of Condura ASSFBI Ladies, and Fred Mapano of Sharp Blue Ray emerged as the top qualifiers in their respective divisions in the Knights of Columbus Open Trio Bowling Tournament at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Bowling Alley in Bacolod City.
Baer topped the Class A division with an average of 118.72 pinfalls per game, while Del Rosario took the women’s bracket with 112.53.
Mapano collected 112.92 pinfalls per game to grab the top spot in the Class B category.
Challenging the top seeds in the battle for the master’s title are Marlon Jochico (Davies), Joe Ermeo (Bago City), Zards Odango (Sharp), Nonoy Gatila (Silverado/ASSFBI), Edgar del Leon (Mulo Aircon Services), Joe Latoza (NPBC/Tough Trucks), Mandoy Hervias (Sharp), Alfredo “Boy” Villanueva (Brgy.I/ASSFBI) and Norman Pineda (Brgy.1).
Rey Bala-an (Sharp); Hernand Garciniego (NPBC/LJP Trading/Tough Trucks); Rommel Jover (Davies); July Borlado (Amor Adobo/ASSFBI); Tikboy Empleo (Panasonic); Romulo Ramos (Mulo Aircon); Joel Huertas (Silverado); Boy Conag, and Melot Alimon are expected to prominently figure in bracket B.
The other top 10 finishers in the women’s division are Lea Javier (Condura ASSFBI), Betsy Tan (Lady Dragon), Sharon Sioson (Panasonic), Cecil Biendo (Lady Dragon), Cora Romero (Panasonic-ON-BACIBA), Jomelyn de la Cruz (Lady Dragon), Yolly Tan (Firefly I), Rose Pablico (Panasonic), and Tess Robles (Firefly).
