Globe project wins
Grand Anvil Award
 

Globe Telecoms received the Grand Anvil Award for its flagship corporate social responsibility program at the recent  43rd Anvil Awards of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines, the company said in a press release.

The award was given to the Globe Bridging Communities (Globe BridgeCom), a program which aims to serve communities by empowering local leaders and micro-entrepreneurs through various community and enterprise development projects.

It also supports and improves education initiatives by harnessing mobile and information technology and empowering the youth, the press release said.

The Anvil Award of Excellence also went to Globe BridgCom and its various components or projects, namely, Globe BridgeCom sa Bayan, Globe BridgeCom Entrepreneurship Fair, Globe BridgeCom Employee Volunteerism, and Globe BridgeCom Youth Development Programs.

The company also garnered Anvil Awards of Merit for its Globe Kantabataan and Communicating Globe CSR Through Media, the press release added.*
