World of Fun crushed Bapro, 109-91, Saturday night to complete an elimination-round sweep of the 8th Tan Kek Pin Cup Memorial Basketball Tournament at the Po Hang Gym of Bacolod Tay Tung High School.

Former Most Valuable Player Warren Alintano pumped in 18 of his 27 points in the second period, before Robbie Jalando-on took over in the third period to break the game wide open for WOF, which finished the first round with a 5-0 record.

From a slim 56-53 lead, WOF turned it up a notch with Jalando-on draining three treys. He got help from Bobot Divinagracia who scored on two daring drives that made it 65-59.

Tommy Manotoc stood at the forefront of the scoring binge yesterday as Canlubang wrapped up the championship division title --- the front end of its three-peat double drive --- at the close of seniors division play in the 61st Philippine Airlines Interclub in Bacolod City.

Manotoc, 59, left little doubt of his status as the finest player in the tournament by carding a one-over par 71 that was equivalent to 53 points at Negros Occidental Golf and Country Club

Also counting for the Sugar Barons yesterday were Bing Bunye and Lino Magpantay, who submitted identical 47s.
