| Wedded bliss
Young couple Joven Michall Montalbo and Daisy Atienza tied the knot in rites held at the Queen of Peace Church, Bacolod, recently. He is the oldest son of businessman Jose and Marilou Montalbo, and she is the daughter of Cirilo and Ma. Elena Atienza.
They were classmates at St. Scholastica’s Academy, but their love story began in college at the University of St. La Salle. After a year of planning, they got married, with Daisy a blushing bride in her stunning off-shoulder gown. The groom was dashing in his designer barong.
Joven’s brother, Matt, with his band, rendered a song at the reception held at the Garden Royale. A night of dancing and fun followed.

Marina Silos recently donated her collection of more than a thousand miniatures and key chains to the Negros Museum. The turnover ceremony was attended by her friends. Marina started her collection as simple souvenirs from her foreign trips.

Andrea Magallanes walked down the aisle to meet her groom, Niño Ibe. Her bridal gown was designed by Maya Nepomuceno. Andrea is the daughter of Allan and Florida Magallanes, while Niño is the son of Bienvenido Sr. and Antonieta Ibe.
Reception followed at Garden Royale. The couple met at USLS where they took up Nursing. Their nine years of friendship eventually blossomed into a lifetime relationship, when they said their “I do’s” at the Sacred Heart Shrine, in ceremonies officiated by Fr. Raphael Babano of the Marian Missionaries of the Holy Cross.*
