| The family in Negros Oriental of an Overseas Filipino Worker murdered in Saudi Arabia on Feb. 12, yesterday was seeking justice for the killing, and urged Saudi authorities to do to the suspect what he had done to the victim.
The remains of Mitchel Joseph Montecino, 35, married, of Pondol, Amlan town, was brought home from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where he had worked as a family driver for five months.
Arab news reports identified the suspect as Pancho Toronuyba, also a family driver for 21 years of their employer identified as Al Omran. The suspect hails from Malabon, Metro Manila.
Initial investigations disclosed that the suspect was envious of the new driver, and that heated arguments had taken place before Toronuyba beheaded Montecino.
This reportedly took place while Montecino was asleep. Toronuyba was arrested by Saudi police two hours after the crime, reports said.
Montecino’s wife, Ananora and their three children, aged 12, 8 and 6 years, are seeking for justice for the death of the family’s only breadwinner.
Ananora said they want Toronuyba to also die by beheading.*JG
