PAF needs 600 cadets

The Philippine Air Force will conduct a nationwide airman qualifying examination and Armed Forces of the Philippines Test Battery, for the recruitment of 600 candidate soldiers to compose the BMT class 2008 BRAVO.

Major Jojo Nebres, acting director for personnel of the army, said the examination will be held next month at the 560th ABW, MBEAB, in Lapu-Lapu City , Cebu .

Applicants must be male or female, natural born citizen of the Republic of the Philippines, 18 years old but not more than 24 years old on the day of graduation (Dec. 15, 2008) from basic military training, single and never been married nor have legal obligation to support a child or children, physically fit and of good moral character, must have a height of at least 5'4" for male and 5'2" for females, must have accumulated at least 72 units from any government-recognized institution on or before the physical and medical examination on April 14, 2008.

All interested qualified applicants must also bring during the examination two 2x2 ID pictures, transcript of records/certification from school registrar, and birth certificate.*RG
