Fr. Raymond Asoy, parish priest of the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary in Eroreco, officiated at the Eucharist and the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony uniting Francis Raymond Tabligan and April Hilario, at the St. Jude Thaddeus Diocesan Shrine in Bacolod , recently.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Tabligan and she is the daughter of Judge and Luz Andrade Hilario.
Almost all of the 30 principal sponsors came all the way from the land of milk and honey. Francis and April were groupmates during high school and college days.
It was only later in Maryland , where both are working, that their love blossomed into a beautiful relationship. After two years of going steady, they decided to get married in the City of Smiles and be with their families, friends and classmates.
Matron of honor was Ghia Agena Jones; best man – Mark Montinola, candle sponsors were Cristina Arias and Fernando Elumba Jr.; veil– Pioi Ballesteros and Giovanne Pasco; and cord – Lorelito and Franklin Gofalco.
Reception followed at the La Proa Ballroom of L'Fisher Hotel, which was grandiosely decorated with red giant roses and white calla lilies and red and white balloons.
Men in their polo barongs looked handsome and ladies in their long gowns were fabulous. Sumptuous buffet was spread in four long tables. Rod Simon hosted the program.
After the words of thanks from the newlyweds, it was party up to the wee hours in the morning.
The couple went to Dumaguete and Boracay for their honeymoon.
To the bride and groom, always remember to put God at the center of your married life.
