| The principal of Sac-sac Elementary School in the municipality of Bacong , Negros Oriental. sought the help of Gov. Emilio Macias II, Monday in the resumption of their school's water supply.
Josela Ragusta-Baldomero told Macias the school has not had water supply for two weeks now.
A total of 344 pupils are recipients of the free noon meal feeding program of Rep. Henry Pryde Teves (3 rd district, NegOr) but this was been stopped on Jan. 22, for lack of access to potable water, she added.
Baldomero said unknown persons stole their water meter and appeals help from various local officials including Bacong Mayor Lenin Alviola and even Congressman Teves, were to no avail.
Macias endorsed the problem to provincial legal counsel Erwin Vergara.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Planning and Development Office will send a water tanker to the school until the water supply is resumed.*MA
