| The City Savings Bank recently donated an air conditioner to the Victorias National High School that was turned over by CSB Branch Head Julius Tiples and staff, a press release from the bank said.
The donation was received by VNHS officer-in-charge, Patricia Ledesma, department head Emelie Gemarino, OIC department head Manuel Villarin Jr., and VNHS retired Principal Araceli Flores.
An Aboitiz company, CSB has a paid-up capital of over P150 million and total resources of P4 billion, the press release said.
It also has one of the best operating efficiencies in the thrift banking industry, lowest non-performing loans and highest capitalization level, the press release said.
The bank offers salary loans to public school teachers. Its deposit products include the Regular Savings Account which allows minimum deposits for as low as P100 and the Kaugma-on Savings. The bank also offers time deposits that guarantee very competitive interest rates which aims to give the depositors a good return on their investments, it said.
CSB remains among the most stable thrift banks in the country with 17 branches in the Visayas and Mindanao , the press release said.
The bank's branch expansion is expected to continue in 2008.
In Bacolod, the branch is located at the Ground Floor, 722 Metropolis Towers, Lacson Street, Mandalagan, the press release added.*
