Blessing

My sincerest congratulations to Negros Occidental Gov. Joseph Marañon, and his wife, Aida, on their 48th wedding anniversary last January 30.

They would like to thank those who remembered them on their special day. Words cannot express the joy the couple felt. Salamat Gid!

The blessing and grand opening of Job's Resto and Grill located at the Valderama Compound, Bacolod was held recently. It is owned by young entrepreneur couple Louie and Thea Kilayko. The affair also marked the birthday of their energetic mother Jean Torre Rivera.

The Torre sisters came in full force.

The resto was named after the couple's youngest son Job, who is the apple of the Kilayko siblings.

The place was bursting with guests, while the celebrator was busy entertaining the “Golden Ladies” and I, as friends of the young couple, were also busy welcoming their friends. Delia Tad-y and I had a grand time sampling all the specialties prepared.

At the entrance, an audio visual enticed the young ones, while inside, Dr. Gerardo Rivera and some of his colleagues were busy sampling the food.

Pamelo and Batchoy Alunan, Mary Ann Mirasol, and Maribel Torre with close friends from Riverside were also present.
