Mayor on ANC today to
discuss BacoLaodiat

Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia will be interviewed at ANC's "Mornings at ANC" from 9:30 to 11 a.m. today where he will talk about the BacoLaodiat Festival that kicks off Wednesday and will end Sunday, in Bacolod, a City Hall press release said.

The activities for the festival, which is now on its third year, will include a Chinese Painting Exhibit featuring Arsenia Lim and students at the SM Entertainment Center on Wednesday; Feb. 7 -- city-wide Dragon and Lion Dance 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Chopsticks Alley at 6th Street, formal opening with cultural presentation at the 5th Street main stage at 8:30 p.m., Symphony of Sparks and Lights, opening of the Lantern Park at the Capitol Lagoon and city-wide fireworks at 11 p.m.

Set on the third day are a Tour of the Temples at 10 a.m., Tsinoy Olympics (3 p.m.,) and Kinengkoy Comedy Express, live band, concerts and fireworks (7 p.m.), the press release said.

Other scheduled activities are, on February 9 - Chinese Cook Fest at Robinson's Place (11 a.m.), 1 st Lantern and Street Dancing Competitions (6 p.m.), and on Feb. 10 – closing rites with fireworks to welcome the Year of the Earth Rat at 6 p.m., the press release added.*
