depart for Iloilo 4 cols

Three teams representing Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports Cultural and Educational Association leave for Iloilo City today to see action in the Western Visayas PRISAA Meet.

The NOPSSCEA athletics, football and swimming teams will begin their campaigns on Tuesday in Iloilo. The rest of the events are set in Kalibo, Aklan starting Feb. 7.

Iloilo meets Antique in men's football this afternoon at the Iloilo Sports Complex pitch to usher in hostilities in the Games that will run until Feb. 11.

TUP, WNC share
park volley honors

Teams from Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas and West Negros College shared the spotlight in the first NOVA-Inter College P.E. Park Volleyball Festival at the University of St. La Salle field.

TUP ruled the men's division with Bago City College , WNC-B and WNC-A placing second, third and fourth, respectively.

WNC-A captured the women's crown, followed by Bago City College-C, Bago City College-B and USLS-Nursing 2C.
