| This year's fiesta queen of Jaro district, in Iloilo City , which celebrates the annual feast of the Our Lady of Candles, tomorrow, is Bacoleña Andrea Aileen Marie Vinco Montelibano.
She will be escorted by Mark Aguilar Villar, son of Senate President Manny Villar Jr. and Las Piñas Rep. Cynthia Villar.
Andrea, 24, is a commercial model. She stands 5 feet 6 inches tall, and was queen of Isabela, Negros Occidental in 2004. She works as a foreign exchange broker and presently resides in Manila .
She finished her elementary and secondary education at St. Scholastica's Academy in Bacolod , and acquired her Bacherlor of Arts major in Pscyhology degree from the Ateneo de Manila University, as a consistent honor student. She plans to enroll in a medical school.
Andrea is the eldest daughter of Leandro Fernando and Asuncion Montelibano.*GCT

Guarana sets
Bacolod comeback
Guarana, the leading proponent of authentic Bossa Nova and Samba in the Philippines , will play at the Sugarland Hotel in Bacolod City , on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, a press release from organizers said.
The group was formed in November 2001, and led by vocalist Eileen Sison, an ambassador of Brazilian and Bossa Music in the country. It plays at the Café Havana and Conway's of Shagrila Makati.
Negrenses will be treated to a delightful blend of musical expressions from Brazil-soft and sensuous to the syncopated. Samba and Bossa are given a fresh take, veering away from the usual clichés, the press release said.
The percolating percussions will also make the audience move and groove, hear and feel the sound of true Musica Brasileira, it added.
Tickets priced at P800 include a sumptuous buffet prepared by Sugarland Hotel's internationally trained executive chef Pancho Bringas.

News team plants propagules
The ABS-CBN news team planted 8,373 propagules at the 100-hectare mangrove plantation at Molocaboc Island in Sagay City , Negros Occidental, recently, a press release from the network said.
They were joined by boy and girl scouts of Molocaboc Integrated School . headed by principal Roger Rochar, and residents of the place led by Molocaboc Barangay Captain Antonio Pasaylo.
Sagay is the home of a marine reserve sanctuary in the province, and villagers help in its mangrove reforestation project, initiated by Gov. Joseph Marañon, who hails from the city, the press release said.
The news team was treated to seafood delicacies for lunch and entertained by the “Kahoneros,” a distinct brand of music of Sagay, the press release added.*

RMC clinic turnover set today
The Riverside College in Bacolod City will turn over today the Dr. Pablo O. Torre Emergency Clinic and Birthing Home to the Sagay City government, in Negros Occidental, a press release from the school said.
The facility is the second constructed by Riverside in partnership with a local government unit. The first was with Cadiz City last year.
The project was initiated to cater to the medical needs of the people of Sagay, especially women and children, the press release said.
Sagay officials led by Mayor Alfredo Marañon and Vice Mayor Leo Rafael Cueva, with Drs. Hector and Andrea Torre, will lead the cutting of the ribbon at 9 a.m. today, the press release added.*
