From just offering voice calls, the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. landline is fast moving towards the next generation, offering a wide array of telecommunication products and services, including data, internet communications, and soon even interactive video, a PLDT press release said yesterday.

PLDT in its quest to provide the whole country with its strong brand of products and services has moved to bring these products to the marketplace through their agents and dealers like ZIBA Communications and Services, a new authorized PLDT/SMART Application Center at the ground floor of 888 Chinatown Square in Bacolod City, which will have its grand opening today, the press release said.

During this event ZIBA Communications and Services will offer their PLDT clients free PLDT Budget Cards for every purchase of a PLDT landline plus prepaid SIM, the press release added.*
