Both projects are developed by the Lotiff Property Development Corporation, and are aimed at catering to the needs of various sectors including private employees, members of the Philippine National Police, and families of overseas workers.

Bacong remembers
Leon Kilat’s heroism

BY ALEX PAL

The usually quiet town of Bacong in Negros Oriental sprang to life on Sunday, July 27.

The atmosphere was similar to that of the town fiesta, which was still a good one month away. The holy mass, parade, mass demonstrations, dinner and fireworks were meant to honor only one man — Bacong’s hero and most famous one-time resident — Pantaleon Villegas.

Pantaleon Villegas is Bacong’s contribution to the Philippine revolution against Spain. He was born in the town 135 years ago.
