Baer eyes master

Allan Baer, of Triple-C ASSFBI and Ric Abellar, of Bago City Bowlers Association are the top qualifiers in the battle for the master crown tonight, of the Sharp 1st Conference Open Trio Bowling Tournament at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

Baer topped bracket A with an average of 118.67 pinfalls per game, while Abellar posted 111.53 in category B.

They will be challenged by nine other members of the top 10 club in their respective division for the master’s plum.

Competitors in the Class A department are Wilson Casas, of Mulo Aircon Services with 116.67; Willy Mahilum, NPBC LJP Trading, 115.44; Ronnie Arroyo, NPBC Tough Trucks, 112.17; Joe Latoza, NPBC, 112.17; Felipe Boy Romero, Panasonic, 112.; Boy Tisoy Villanueva, Brgy.1, 111.29; Roger Flores. Amor Adobo, 110.53; Nonoy Gatila, Silverado ESD, 110.45, and Munching Guinson, Davies, 110.43.

To compete in bracket B are Matt Gaudite, NPBC LJP/MJS, 111.25; Hernand Garciniego, NPBC LJP Trading/MJS, 109. 92; Boy Wingpo, NEMA, 109.72;  Celso Serfino, NEMA, 109.57; July Borlado, Amor Adobo/ASSFBI, 108.65;  Rey B., 108.04; Dan Dadivas, Triple-C ASSFBI, 107.96; Gap Penafiel, Bago City, 107.94, and Cesar Sumaylo, Hurricane Brgy.7 ASSFBI, 107.90.

Tournament committee member Boy Wingpo said non-stop action will start at 6 p.m.

Meanwhile, the championship in the team competition is scheduled Friday.

Triple-C ASSFBI and Negros Professional Bowlers Club/LJP Trading MJS will be beaten-twice in their division.

Challenging them in the overall championship are ESD Amor/ASSFBI, Davies, Barangay 7 Hurricane,  Panasonic, Sharp I and NPBC Tough Trucks.* HLG
