spearheads  blood-letting

More than 50 donors participated in “Dugo Mo, Kabuhi Ko” blood-letting activity of dyEZ Aksyon Radyo-Bacolod held at the Lopue’s East Centre Activity Centre, in Bacolod City, Friday, a press release from the station said.

Policemen, businessmen, trisikad drivers, and farmers from as far as Don Salvador Benedicto town, came to donate blood that will be used for emergency needs of the Operation Tulong Task Force.

JJ Deocampo, Aksyon Radyo-Bacolod station manager, said supporting the activity were the Provincial Health Office-Provincial Voluntary Blood Services Program of Negros Occidental, Lopue’s Araneta and Lopue’s East Centre, and a private pharmaceutical firm, the press release said.

Policemen who joined the activity were from the 6th Regional Mobile Group based in Victorias City, led by 2nd Company commanding officer, Chief Insp. Jacob Crisostomo, Bacolod City Police officers led by SPO1 Rey Jereos, Pulupandan town police led by Insp. Joshua Villasis, and seven uniformed personnel from the Bago City Police Office, the press release said.

Superintendents Roderick Alba of the Silay Police Office and Calixto Mabugat of the Kabankalan Police Office also sent their teams, as well as personnel of the Cadiz Police Office led by Chief Insp. Jefferson Descallar, the press release added.*
