Panaad bowling tourney
opens tomorrow at Top’s
 

Action in the 1st Governor Joseph G. Maranon Cup PANAAD Invitational Open Trio Bowling Tournament rolls off tomorrow at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

The tournament hosted by the Active Solid Strikers Fellowship Bowlers Inc. has drawn participation from Mulo Aircon Services I, Triple-C ASSFBI, Negros Professional Bowlers Club/LJP Trading/MJS, NPBC Tough Trucks, Silverado ASSFBI, , Barangay I ASSFBI, Brgy.7 Hurricane, Sharp Phils., Amor Adobo ASSFBI, Duckpin Bowlers Association of Iloilo, Escalante, Cadiz City, Victorias, Bago City, Davies, K of C/Nema, Condura, ON-BACIBA, Firefly, Lady Dragon, RR Pincrushers, SR Bowlers, among others.

ASSFBI president Edgar Allan Del Rosario said the event co-hosted by Sharp Phils., Panasonic and Knights of Columbus offers P60,000 in gift certificates and a trophy each to the top four winners in the team and master bowler competition in the two divisions.

The tournament will be an eight-game series where the top four squads will play in an up-the-ladder-system to determine the champion.

Dan Dadivas, tournament director, said the champion in the men’s division will receive P15,000 while the first, second and third runners-up will bring home, P10,000, P5,000 and P3,000, respectively.

Up for grabs for the champion in the women’s department is P10,000;  P6,000, first runner-up, and P3,000, for second runner-up. The master bowler will receive P1,000.*HLG
