Isabela man kills brother
BY GILBERT BAYORAN

Jealousy had triggered the killing of Rey Zamora by his elder brother, Jonard, in Brgy. Tinongan, Isabela, Negros Occidental, April 18, police said.

Senior Inspector Romeo Leyte, Isabela police chief, yesterday said Jonard, 38, was immediately arrested by the police after he stabbed his younger brother at their residence in the barangay, last week.

The victim sustained multiple stab wounds that caused to his death.

A 14-inch knife allegedly used by Jonard was recovered by the Isabela police from the scene of incident.

Leyte said they will have release Jonard if the members of their family will not press charges against him by Friday.*GPB
