| Two hundred nine acquired properties of the Home Development Mutual Fund or the Pag-IBIG Fund in various cities in Negros Occidental, including Bacolod City, are still for sale at 15 to 25 percent discount.
Pag-IBIG Fund said the sale of its acquired assets under Magaang Pabahay, Desenteng Buhay program is extended until June 30, 2008.
Under the local branch, sold acquired assets included 370 residential units in Bacolod, Cadiz, Kabankalan, Victorias, San Carlos and Binalbagan.
Wilfredo Semolava, Pag-IBIG Branch Bacolod head, said that since the program was launched in October 2006, they have already disposed of more than P103 million worth of acquired housing units and lots to their members.
To avail of the acquired assets, buyers should pay a non-refundable reservation fee of P1,000 directly to the Pag-IBIG Fund subject to a 15-day reservation or compliance period. The fee shall form part of the processing fee of P3,000 in case the property is purchased through housing loan.
