| The 2008 PANAAD Invitational Open Trio Bowling Tournament dubbed “1st Governor Joseph G. Marañon Memorial Cup”, and hosted by the Active Solid Strikers Fellowship Bowlers Inc. unfolds on April 26 at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.
Pintoppling action will start at 9 a.m.
The two-day activity co-hosted by Sharp Phils., Panasonic and Knights of Columbus offers P60,000.00 worth of gift certificates and a trophy each, to the top four winners in the team and master bowler competition in two division to be contested.
The tournament is an eight-game series event, where the top four squads will play in an up-the-ladder-system to determine the champion.
ASSFBI president Edgar Allan del Rosario said the champion in the men’s division will receive P15,000, while the first, second and third runners-up will bring home, P10,000, P5,000 and P3,000, respectively.
Up for grabs for the champion in the women’s department is P10,000; P6,000, first runner-up, and P3,000, for second runner-up.
Awaits the winner in the master bowler contest is P1,000.
Tournament director Dan Dadivas said players are required to wear their uniform while playing, otherwise, a corresponding deduction of one pin per frame will be deducted on his/her score, he added.
Registration fee is pegged at P3,000, including alley fees.*HLG
