| Negros Professional Bowlers Club/LJP Trading MJS led in the men’s division, as Condura ASSFBI Ladies kept the top post in the women’s bracket of the ongoing Sharp Phils. Open Trio 1ST Conference Bowling Tournament at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.
The Gil Villagante-led LJP pintopplers sparked 1,061 pinfalls to snatch the No.1 spot from Triple – C ASSFBI of Fred Reyes with a seven-round collection of 7,036 pinfalls, while the latter posted 7,032 to slip down to second position.
Third in command was the Silverado ASSFBI of Cecil Silverio with 6,881 followed by ESD Amor led by Roger Flores with 6,861 balls.
The other teams and their corresponding outputs: Barangay 7 Hurricane, 6,856; NPBC Tough Trucks Surplus, 6,846; Davies Paint, 6,830; Sharp I, 6,796; Mulo Aircon Services, 6,779; NEMA K of C 5665, 6,776; Barangay I ESD, 6,651; Bago City Bowlers Association, 6,722; SJHS Alumni Association and Sharp II.
Condura is leading in the distaff category with 5,693 pinfalls.
Firefly occupied the second position with 5,532.
Other scores: Panasonic/ON-BACIBA, 5,464; Lady Dragon, 5,436; RR PincrushersASSFBI, 5,107; Exsol Ladies, 4,960 and Team Justice, 4,938.
Triple – C and Davies established the highest single and triple with 399 and 1,073 in the men’s bracket; Panasonic and Condura in the women’s side with 357 and 1,010 pinfalls, respectively.
In the individual contests, Cesar Sumaylo, of Brgy.7 registered the highest pinning record with 94 pinfalls, as Ronnie Arroyo, of NPBC Tough Trucks and Wilson Casas, of Mulo Aircon Services churned in 149 and 415 for the highest single and triple marks.
Records holders in the women’s side are Margie Bayog, of ON-BACIBA, in highest pinning with 94; Precy Pillo, Panasonic, in highest single with 149, and Sylvia Del Rosario, of Condura, in triple with 348.
