Jobs fair conducted
for new graduates
 

A jobs fair for new graduates was held by the Bacolod City Public Employment and Services Office at the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos Friday, the mayor’s office said.

 PESO head Moises dela Cruz said the jobs fair dubbed “Handog sa mga Kabataang Nagtatapos” is a program intended for students graduating this school year.

Participating companies were SM City, Convergy’s, Teleperformance, TeleTech, Dynamic Builders, Pepsi Cola, Coca-Cola Bottlers, Robinsons Land Corp., Travel Lounge, EEI Corp., Concorde Int’l., Adana Manpower, AM Builders’ Depot, and France Asia International.

The Department of Labor and Employment also set up a booth at the jobs fair.

The PESO office provided the applicants with information on how to prepare their employment papers and for the interview, tests and other procedures.

Three hundred new graduates participated in the jobs fair, and 30 percent of them were earmarked for further testing.*
