2 drug suspects nabbed
IN DUMAGUETE
BY MARICAR ARANAS

Two drug suspects were collared by Task Force 24 operatives in a buy-bust operation about 11 a.m. Wednesday in Barangay Poblacion 2, Lukewright Street, Dumaguete City.

Seized from suspects Jerry Alviola and Rogin Indoso, both of legal age and residents of the barangay, were three sachets believed to contain shabu.

National Bureau of Investigation agent Mike Dungog said Alviola had been under surveillance for selling illegal drugs, while Indoso is believed to be a drug user and thief.

The police has called on victims of snatching to come to the police station to identify the suspects, who will be charged with violating Republic Act  9165  or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The  TF24 is composed of personnel from the NBI, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Criminal Investigation Detection Group, and  the Dumaguete  police station.

Meanwhile, city policemen arrested Monday three suspects who admitted they were behind the series of snatching and hold-up incidents in Dumaguete.

They were identified as Gifford Barrica and Andrew Lisondra, both of legal age, and a 13–year-old boy.

Seized from Barrica and Lisondra were two sachets containing shabu, the police said.* MA
