Class ’68, ’62 keep top posts
 

Class ’68 and Class ’62 kept the No.1 position in their respective division of the ongoing Negros Occidental High School Inter-Class Alumni Bowling Tournament at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

Defending champion Class ’73 Globelines struck a game-high 1,546 pinfalls to improve from fourth to second spot, after a measly performance in the early rounds.

Class ’68 is on top of the overall standing in Class A division with a total collection of 13,304 pinfalls, 13 pins ahead over second-running Class ’73 with 13,291.

Occupying the third and fourth seats are Class ’66 and Class ’74 with 13,240 and 13,171 balls, respectively.

The other teams and their corresponding outputs: Class ’82, 13,076; Class ’72, 12,842; Class ’67, 12,748; Class ’89, 12,649 and Class ’83, 12,523.

Class 62/54 Combined is comfortably leading in bracket B with 13, 041 followed by Class ’71 with 12,793.

Other scores: Class ’70, 12,766; Class ’80, 12,469; Class ’84, 12,309; Class ’67 Mavericks, 12,085; Class ’56, 11,971 and Class ’58, 12,004.

The top four squads to compete in the up-the-ladder championship scheduled on April 12 will be known on Saturday, April 5.
