She turned 90

BUDDAI

“Groovy grandma” was what all grandchildren called Cosette Golez when she recently celebrated her 90th birthday at their mansion at Burgos Street, Bacolod, following a Mass officiated by Msgr. Gigi Gaston.

She is always on the go, her spirit gets low when just staying at home. She always wants action and loves to spend weekday afternoon playing her favorite – “table swimming,” when she wants to take a break.

She always goes shopping and invites all her apos to go to the mall. Shopping is not complete without a blowout from their Lola at restos. All the grandchildren look forward to going with their Lola Cosette.

During her birthday with Pancho Uytiepo on the piano, the celebrator – the dancing diva – together with her group enjoyed dancing with their D.I. partners through the invitation of daughter Madge, from boogie to foxtrot, tango and rumba and a special dance from their mentor, Ofe Gonzaga.

Gracing the occasion were friends from the Damas de Caridad where she is a very active member, and siblings and nephew and nieces from Manila and Bacolod.

She never misses her favorite T.V. programs, especially the telenovelas. During Christmas, the celebrator loves to play Santa to everybody.

To Tita Cosette Golez, stay happy and good health to you.

Remember: Happines is something we create in our mind, so today, be a messenger of happiness.*
