Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia issued Executive Order No. 5 declaring May 28 to June 30, 2007, as Flag Days in commemoration of the 109th celebration of Philippine Independence.

The Order states that the City Government of Bacolod enjoins all business establishments, private and government offices, non-government organizations, barangays, residents of the community and owners of public and private motor vehicles to display the Philippine flag in practicable places as citizen's expression of nationalism and patriotism. The Order was signed by the Mayor on May 17.*CGS
