17-year-old complains
vs. American at NBI

A 17-year-old resident of La Union, Pangasinan, yesterday filed a complaint before the National Bureau of Investigation against an American allegedly working for a call center in Bacolod City for alleged sexual misconduct.

The 17-year-old said she got to know the American, whose name the DAILY STAR is withholding, through the Internet and she and her cousin decided to come to Bacolod to meet him in person.

The American sent tickets that he said were for round-trips but when we got to Bacolod we found out that they were one-way tickets, she said.

She said when she came to Bacolod she expected marriage with the American but it did not push through and he later sent them away like dogs without any money to go back home.*
