School holds
graduation rites

Fortress College in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, will hold its 25th commencement exercises at 3 p.m. today, a press release from the school said.

More than 400 students will graduate this year, including those from the ASCO Bible School.

Guest speaker will be Bishop Ephraim Tendero, president of PCEC. Founder and president of Fortress College is evangelist Dr. Greg Tingson, the press release added.*

Mall launches fitness program

A calisthenics program will be initiated today by SM City in Bacolod City at its Southwing Carpark to promote fitness and wellness among its shoppers, tenants and employees, a press release from the management said.

The program kicks off with the Weekend Fitness with Ching Alcala (aerodance) from 6 to 7 a.m. today, and every Saturday thereafter. On weekends, Donna Porter's Fit and Fun Morning (aerobics and ballroom dancing) will start on Monday, 6 to 7 a.m., to be held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Support group
sets induction

Heaven Sent, a support organization for adoptive parents, will hold its induction of officers at 2:30 p.m. today at the atrium of the Hall of Justice in Bacolod City.

The group has about 25 member families who meet every third Saturday of the month at the Hall of Justice to discuss ways and means to propagate the concept of adoption of children who need to be placed in a family home atmosphere.

They also invite resource persons who talk on how to rear adopted children and, sometimes, hold children's parties so that children and their parents could bond with each other. The group has been in existence for two years now. The officers to be inducted by Judge Ray Alan Drilon, Executive Judge of RTC Bacolod City, are: president - Judge Philadelfa Agraviador; vice president - Bruno Van Den Huevel; secretary - Vivien Amodia; assistant secretary - Therence Galila; treasurer - Belinda Rojo; assistant treasurer - Dely Sumadia; and auditor - Jude Doctora.

Directors are Tess Bongco, Arnel Sigue, Elnora Garcia, Victoria Lanado, and Dolores Navio.
