Officials of Teleperformance, one of the call center companies
operating in Bacolod, are banking on the performance of its local
workforce to sustain its growth.
The company said in a recent statement that the growth of Teleperformance-Bacolod
can be attributed to the outstanding performance of its employees
and management.
"We're all very excited about the rate of growth we're experiencing
with Teleperformance this year - globally, in the Philippines, and
specifically, in Bacolod," Dave Rizzo, managing director of Teleperformance
Philippines, said.
Rich Loveland, director of operations, said their company is
extremely pleased and surprised with the quality and caliber of
the workforce Negros and the tremendous amount of support that Teleperformance
is receiving from local officials, academe and the media.
"We feel that this is only the beginning," he said, adding
that he believes that Negros is capable of supporting thousands
of employment opportunities.
Teleperformance-Bacolod, located at the ground floor of Luxur
Place (formerly Bacolod Convention Hotel), is now hiring 600 employees
more for its Bacolod site to fill up the positions for technical
support representative, customer service representative, account
manager, call center manager, quality assurance analyst, QA supervisor,
team leader, reports analyst, mission control specialist, lead trainer,
communication trainer, employee relations associate, human resources
associate and company nurse.
Claire Bedia, director for administration and human resource,
said Teleperformance is also in the process of completing its call
center training curriculum in collaboration with the academe.*
