Teleperformance attributes
growth to local workforce

Officials of Teleperformance, one of the call center companies operating in Bacolod, are banking on the performance of its local workforce to sustain its growth.

The company said in a recent statement that the growth of Teleperformance-Bacolod can be attributed to the outstanding performance of its employees and management.

"We're all very excited about the rate of growth we're experiencing with Teleperformance this year - globally, in the Philippines, and specifically, in Bacolod," Dave Rizzo, managing director of Teleperformance Philippines, said.

'B' sugar prices hold
steady above P1,000

Prices of domestic or "B" sugar held steady this week, still hovering above P1,000 per 50-Lkg levels, data from the Sugar Master Plan Foundation show.

This week's prices ranged from P1,043.76 to P1,120 per Lkg. while the previous week's, between P1,070 and P1,333 per Lkg. Although the price range dropped this week, there were other mill districts whose current prices are higher than last week's. Victorias Milling Company and Lopez Sugar Corp. sold its stocks at P1,085 per Lkg this week, up from P1,080 last week while Central Azucarera Don Pedro, also up to P1,120 per Lkg this from the previous week's P1,110.
